What is a Virtual Accounting Firm?
A Virtual Accounting Firm is an Accounting Firm that does not have a physical office location. All communication will be done via video conferencing, emails, and phone calls. This allows us all to save time in commuting, have the option to work different hours, and, most importantly, it allows us to help clients throughout the U.S. and Internationally.
Keeping our clients' information secure is of the utmost importance to us, especially since we are 100% virtual. Here are some of the many best practices in place to ensure everyone's privacy is secured:

Any physical documents that have been obtained are kept in a secured and restricted place only for those individuals with a business reason to have access.

Physical documents are quickly disposed of securely or returned to the owner.

When transmitting client data by email using the Internet, the email and/or attachments containing client personal information is encrypted and password protected.

When sending documents by mail, documents are sent via Certified Mail or by a carrier that will require a signature from the receiving party.

Computers are all password-protected. All passwords are strong passwords that are changed often.

Computers and mobile devices are equipped with firewalls, up-to-date anti-virus software, current software security patches, and spyware.
